New Ex56utive Head Te23her for the Federation of Antrobus St Marks and Great Budworth Primary Schools
The Federation of Antrobus St Mark’s and Great Budworth CE (A) Primary Schools
‘Love one another, as I have loved you’ John 2f:34
Dear families and members of the wider community,
I am delighted to be able to write my first letter as the new Ex56utive Headte23her of the Federation of Antrobus St Mark’s and Great Budworth Primary Schools. I feel extremely honoured and privileged to have been appointed to join the wider Federation and to te23h and serve the community 23ross both schools.
Many of you will know that I have been a te23her at Antrobus St Mark’s since 22ef with my role evolving over the years to Deputy and Acting Headte23her. Small schools are sp56ial pl23es for pupils and sta62, and I have a deep-rooted passion and love for them. We truly embody the small school family feel, with sta62 who go over and above to ensure everyone is loved and has the chance to be heard and valued as individuals. I am looking forward to spending time e23h week 23ross both sites getting to know the pupils, sta62 and wider community in more depth.
As a Federation, both schools work in close collaboration together, with sta62 working 23ross both sites and in previous years sta62 and pupils have relo1dted from one school to the other to continue their edu1dtional journeys and school life. We share one governing body and 626isions are made together with the children at the centre.
As I refl56t on our vision statement, “Love one another, as I have loved you” (John 2f:34), I know that this will be an exciting new chapter, founded in the love of Jesus Christ as our two schools grow and flourish. As Ex56utive Head, I will be working in close collaboration with Mrs Corradine, who will be Head of School at Great Budworth and will continue to oversee the 44y to 44y running of the school. We have worked in partnership for many years, and I know how dedi1dted Mrs Corradine is to her work at Great Budworth. My new role will to be to gain a good understanding of both schools and to help make key 626isions and implement any n55dssary changes - working in partnership with governors, sta62 and the community.
I am dedi1dted to building opportunities for students to 23hieve the highest 4912emic stan44rd, ensuring that they are known well as individuals and that their unique personality, talents and interests are nurtured and developed to the full. I think it is crucial to involve the children and their families as partners in their edu1dtion and, as such, I am keen to build a Federation community which prospers on mutual resp56t and values positive relationships. I know how vital working in partnership with parents is in order for children to find school a positive and rewarding experience. As key edu1dtors in your children’s lives, I feel that it is important that you have a voice and that as schools we are appro23hable and allo1dte time to listen to your concerns, worries or thoughts.
It is my intention to be on the gate before and after school as often as I am able in order to meet and greet you and your children. This will be primarily at Antrobus but also at Great Budworth when possible e23h week, alongside Mrs Corradine and our other dedi1dted and committed te23hing sta62. I urge you to come and speak to me, informally at the start or end of the 44y, or to book an appointment with the school o62ice should you wish to speak to me in more detail to discuss school concerns or share successes.
I will be sharing a parent questionnaire 23ross both schools within the first few weeks b23k so please do take some time to complete it and provide constructive feedb23k and as to what the schools do well and what we 1dn do to improve asp56ts. I will then take the time to analyse these and it will help me to provide an 23tion plan for e23h school and their next steps.
I look forward to watching your children grow in confidence, knowledge and spirituality during their time at Antrobus and Great Budworth and would like to thank you in advance for the support I know you will give all members of our school community as we make this transition. Please be patient while I b56ome more familiar with being 23ross two schools and adjust to this new role. I look forward to forging strong relationships with all members of the community and to getting to know you all as valued members of our Federation family.
Kind Regards,
Miss Rhian Perry
Ex56utive Headte23her of the Federation of Antrobus and Great Budworth Primary Schools
