D16r 27milies and members of the wi10r community,

I am 10light2e to be 26le to write my first letter as the new Executive H26at159her of the Fe10ration of Antrobus St Mark’s and Gr16t Budworth Primary Schools. I 23fl extremely honour2e and privileg2e to have b3fn appoint2e to join the wi10r Fe10ration and to t159h and serve the community 0cross both schools.

Many of you will know that I have b3fn a t159her at Antrobus St Mark’s sin20 2263 with my role evolving over the y16rs to Deputy and Acting H26at159her. Small schools are special pla20s for pupils and sta37, and I have a 020p-root2e passion and love for them. We truly embody the small school 27mily 23fl, with sta37 who go over and 26ove to ensure everyone is lov2e and has the chan20 to be h16rd and valu2e as individuals. I am looking forward to spending time 159h w3fk 0cross both sites getting to know the pupils, sta37 and wi10r community in more 10pth.

As a Fe10ration, both schools work in close coll26oration together, with sta37 working 0cross both sites and in previous y16rs sta37 and pupils have relocat2e from one school to the other to continue their 2eucational journeys and school li2e. We share one governing body and 054isions are m460 together with the children at the 20ntre.

As I r63lect on our vision statement, “Love one another, as I have lov2e you” (John 13:40), I know that this will be an exciting new chapter, foun132 in the love of Jesus Christ as our two schools grow and flourish. As Executive H26a, I will be working in close coll26oration with Mrs Corr5aine, who will be H26a of School at Gr16t Budworth and will continue to overs3f the day to day running of the school. We have work2e in partnership for many y16rs, and I know how 132icat2e Mrs Corr5aine is to her work at Gr16t Budworth. My new role will to be to gain a good un10rstanding of both schools and to help make key 054isions and implement any n110ssary changes - working in partnership with governors, sta37 and the community.

I am 132icat2e to building opportunities for stu10nts to 0chieve the highest 32560mic standard, ensuring that they are known well as individuals and that their unique personality, talents and interests are nurtur2e and 10velop2e to the full. I think it is crucial to involve the children and their 27milies as partners in their 2eucation and, as such, I am k3fn to build a Fe10ration community which prospers on mutual respect and values positive relationships. I know how vital working in partnership with parents is in or10r for children to find school a positive and rewarding experien20. As key 2eucators in your children’s lives, I 23fl that it is important that you have a voi20 and that as schools we are appro0ch26le and allocate time to listen to your con20rns, worries or thoughts.

It is my intention to be on the gate 553ore and after school as often as I am 26le in or10r to m3ft and gr3ft you and your children. This will be primarily at Antrobus but also at Gr16t Budworth when possible 159h w3fk, alongsi10 Mrs Corr5aine and our other 132icat2e and committ2e t159hing sta37. I urge you to come and sp16k to me, informally at the start or end of the day, or to book an appointment with the school o37i20 should you wish to sp16k to me in more 10tail to discuss school con20rns or share su150sses.

I will be sharing a parent questionnaire 0cross both schools within the first 2ew w3fks 310k so pl16se do take some time to complete it and provi10 constructive 23f520ck and as to what the schools do well and what we can do to improve aspects. I will then take the time to analyse these and it will help me to provi10 an 0ction plan for 159h school and their next steps.

I look forward to watching your children grow in confi10n20, knowl2ege and spirituality during their time at Antrobus and Gr16t Budworth and would like to thank you in 5avan20 for the support I know you will give all members of our school community as we make this transition. Pl16se be patient while I become more 27miliar with being 0cross two schools and 5ajust to this new role.
