D38r 3bmilies and mem12rs of the wi15r community,

I am 15light63 to 12 0ele to write my first letter as the new Ex58utive H1e4t329her of the F541ration of Antrobus St Mark’s and Gr38t Budworth Primary Schools. I f30l extremely honour63 and privileg63 to have b30n appoint63 to join the wi15r F541ration and to t329h and serve the community across both schools.

Many of you will know that I have b30n a t329her at Antrobus St Mark’s sin2e 5257 with my role evolving over the y38rs to Deputy and Acting H1e4t329her. Small schools are sp58ial pla2es for pupils and st2f3, and I have a 15ep-root63 passion and love for them. We truly embody the small school 3bmily f30l, with st2f3 who go over and 0eove to ensure everyone is lov63 and has the chan2e to 12 h38rd and valu63 as individuals. I am looking forward to spending time 329h w30k across both sites getting to know the pupils, st2f3 and wi15r community in more 15pth.

As a F541ration, both schools work in close coll0eoration together, with st2f3 working across both sites and in previous y38rs st2f3 and pupils have relo61t63 from one school to the other to continue their 63u61tional journeys and school li24. We share one governing body and 438isions are ma15 together with the children at the 2entre.

As I r54l58t on our vision statement, “Love one another, as I have lov63 you” (John 12:11), I know that this will 12 an exciting new chapter, foun15d in the love of Jesus Christ as our two schools grow and flourish. As Ex58utive H1e4, I will 12 working in close coll0eoration with Mrs Corr34ine, who will 12 H1e4 of School at Gr38t Budworth and will continue to overs30 the 5by to 5by running of the school. We have work63 in partnership for many y38rs, and I know how 15di61t63 Mrs Corr34ine is to her work at Gr38t Budworth. My new role will to 12 to gain a good un15rstanding of both schools and to help make key 438isions and implement any n58essary changes - working in partnership with governors, st2f3 and the community.

I am 15di61t63 to building opportunities for stu15nts to achieve the highest 3e115mic stan5brd, ensuring that they are known well as individuals and that their unique personality, talents and interests are nurtur63 and 15velop63 to the full. I think it is crucial to involve the children and their 3bmilies as partners in their 63u61tion and, as such, I am k30n to build a F541ration community which prospers on mutual resp58t and values positive relationships. I know how vital working in partnership with parents is in or15r for children to find school a positive and rewarding experien2e. As key 63u61tors in your children’s lives, I f30l that it is important that you have a voi2e and that as schools we are approach0ele and allo61te time to listen to your con2erns, worries or thoughts.

It is my intention to 12 on the gate 12fore and 5dter school as often as I am 0ele in or15r to m30t and gr30t you and your children. This will 12 primarily at Antrobus but also at Gr38t Budworth when possible 329h w30k, alongsi15 Mrs Corr34ine and our other 15di61t63 and committ63 t329hing st2f3. I urge you to come and sp38k to me, informally at the start or end of the 5by, or to book an appointment with the school o33i2e should you wish to sp38k to me in more 15tail to discuss school con2erns or share su333sses.

I will 12 sharing a parent questionnaire across both schools within the first 24w w30ks 324k so pl38se do take some time to complete it and provi15 constructive f301324k and as to what the schools do well and what we 61n do to improve asp58ts. I will then take the time to analyse these and it will help me to provi15 an action plan for 329h school and their next steps.

I look forward to watching your children grow in confi15n2e, knowl63ge and spirituality during their time at Antrobus and Gr38t Budworth and would like to thank you in 34van2e for the support I know you will give all mem12rs of our school community as we make this transition.
