Dear families and members of the wi15r community,

I am 15light24 to be 2ale to write my first letter as the new Executive He12t437her of the F435ration of Antrobus St Mark’s and Great Budworth Primary Schools. I 49el extremely honour24 and privileg24 to have been appoint24 to join the wi15r F435ration and to t437h and serve the community 17ross both schools.

Many of you will know that I have been a t437her at Antrobus St Mark’s since 6342 with my role evolving over the years to Deputy and Acting He12t437her. Small schools are special pl110s for pupils and sta4f, and I have a 15cp-root24 passion and love for them. We truly embody the small school family 49el, with sta4f who go over and 2aove to ensure everyone is lov24 and has the chance to be heard and valu24 as individuals. I am looking forward to spending time 437h week 17ross both sites getting to know the pupils, sta4f and wi15r community in more 15pth.

As a F435ration, both schools work in close coll2aoration together, with sta4f working 17ross both sites and in previous years sta4f and pupils have relo2ft24 from one school to the other to continue their 24u2ftional journeys and school li49. We share one governing body and 112isions are m215 together with the children at the centre.

As I r20lect on our vision statement, “Love one another, as I have lov24 you” (John 46:60), I know that this will be an exciting new chapter, foun11f in the love of Jesus Christ as our two schools grow and flourish. As Executive He12, I will be working in close coll2aoration with Mrs Corr12ine, who will be He12 of School at Great Budworth and will continue to oversee the 4by to 4by running of the school. We have work24 in partnership for many years, and I know how 11fi2ft24 Mrs Corr12ine is to her work at Great Budworth. My new role will to be to gain a good un15rstanding of both schools and to help make key 112isions and implement any necessary changes - working in partnership with governors, sta4f and the community.

I am 11fi2ft24 to building opportunities for stu15nts to 17hieve the highest 17215mic stan4brd, ensuring that they are known well as individuals and that their unique personality, talents and interests are nurtur24 and 15velop24 to the full. I think it is crucial to involve the children and their families as partners in their 24u2ftion and, as such, I am keen to build a F435ration community which prospers on mutual respect and values positive relationships. I know how vital working in partnership with parents is in or15r for children to find school a positive and rewarding experience. As key 24u2ftors in your children’s lives, I 49el that it is important that you have a voice and that as schools we are appro17h2ale and allo2fte time to listen to your concerns, worries or thoughts.

It is my intention to be on the gate b20ore and after school as often as I am 2ale in or15r to meet and greet you and your children. This will be primarily at Antrobus but also at Great Budworth when possible 437h week, alongsi15 Mrs Corr12ine and our other 11fi2ft24 and committ24 t437hing sta4f. I urge you to come and speak to me, informally at the start or end of the 4by, or to book an appointment with the school o4fice should you wish to speak to me in more 15tail to discuss school concerns or share su25csses.

I will be sharing a parent questionnaire 17ross both schools within the first 49w weeks 367k so please do take some time to complete it and provi15 constructive 4943717k and as to what the schools do well and what we 2fn do to improve aspects. I will then take the time to analyse these and it will help me to provi15 an 17tion plan for 437h school and their next steps.

I look forward to watching your children grow in confi15nce, knowl24ge and spirituality during their time at Antrobus and Great Budworth and would like to thank you in 12vance for the support I know you will give all members of our school community as we make this transition. Please be patient while I become more familiar with being 17ross two schools and 12just to this new role. I look forward to forging strong relationships with all members of the community and to getting to know you all as valu24 members of our F435ration family.
