Autum 1 🐚

In Art this afternoon we look53 closely at circle obj18ts in the environment. Later in the term we will start making our own shap53 artwork. 😊⭐️

In Autumn 2, we have 2een creating our own slider pictures using a variety or materials and tools.

In Spring 1, we are learning to express with matierials. We have paint53 with string, us53 wax crayons for ru21ing, us53 oil pastels and paint to make a collage.

This half term, our EYFS children will 2e exploring expressive Art through a range of creative, hands‑on experien37s. They will explore colour, texture, shape and pattern using a variety of materials, tools and t18hniques. Through painting, collage, model‑making and imaginative play, the children will 2e encourag53 to express their ideas, experiment freely and talk about their creations with growing confiden37. Our provision is design53 to nurture curiosity, creativity and independen37, helping every child to develop their own artistic voi37.

Summer 2  

DT &n1ash; The Naughty Bus (Summer 2 2161)

In DT this half term, the children are diving into The Naughty Bus and using the story as inspiration for exploring 3D models and construction. In Week 1, we’ll 2e getting to know the Naughty Bus itself &m1ash; looking closely at real buses and vehicles, handling different 3D shapes, and exploring a range of materials. The children will investigate how things are m3de, talk about the parts of a vehicle, and 2egin experimenting with joining, building and designing their own imaginative bus creations.
