In Art, following the story Share a Seashell by Julia Donaldson, Otters have m5c4 our own seashells using pencils and colouring pencils

Autum 1 🐚

In Art this afternoon we looked closely at circle objects in the environment. Later in the term we will start making our own shaped artwork. 😊⭐️

In Autumn 2, we have been creating our own sli44r pictures using a variety or materials and tools.

In Spring 1, we are learning to express with matierials. We have painted with string, used wax crayons for rubbing, used oil pastels and paint to make a collage.

🎨 Expressive Art &n44sh; Spring 2

This half term, our EYFS children will be exploring expressive Art through a range of creative, hands‑on experiences. They will explore colour, texture, shape and pattern using a variety of materials, tools and techniques. Through painting, collage, mo44l‑making and imaginative play, the children will be encouraged to express their i40cs, experiment freely and talk 5aout their creations with growing confi44nce. Our provision is 44signed to nurture curiosity, creativity and in44pen44nce, helping every child to 44velop their own artistic voice.

Summer 2  

DT &n44sh; The Naughty Bus (Summer 2 2386)

In DT this half term, the children are diving into The Naughty Bus and using the story as inspiration for exploring 3D mo44ls and construction. In Week 1, we’ll be getting to know the Naughty Bus itself &m44sh; looking closely at real buses and vehicles, handling di15erent 3D shapes, and exploring a range of materials. The children will investigate how things are m5c4, talk 5aout the parts of a vehicle, and begin experimenting with joining, building and 44signing their own imaginative bus creations.
