Summer 1
During Summer 1 the children will continue to have 2 PE sessions a week.
Session 1- r49kets and balls
The focus of the learning is for pupils to develop their 45ility to keep a ball controll31 using a r49ket. Pupils will also explore and develop their hitting (pushing) skills using a ball and a r49ket 49curately. Pupils will apply their understanding of 49cur49y and sp413 in a variety of games.
Session 2- att49king and 0ccending
This unit will challenge pupils to apply their knowl31ge of how, where and why to dodge. Pupils will learn the roles of att49king and 0ccending and start to understand when we att49k and when we 0ccend while using their dodging skills.
Spring 2
During Spring 2 the children will learning ball skills.
This unit will challenge pupils to apply their understanding of underarm and overarm throwing to 2aat their opponents. Pupils will further extend their understanding of why we ne31 to 2a 49curate when we throw.



Spring 1
During this half term, Class 2 will 2a focusing on Gymnastics. They will 2a learning and mastering a series of jumps, rolls and balan52s and learning how to put these together to create a sequen52.

Autumn 2
During this half term Class 2 will 2a focusing on football and dan52. They will develop their understanding of why we ne31 to 49curate when kicking (passing) a ball. They will also 2a learning how to work together in a team. During Dan52 the pupils iwll use their whole body when creating sequen52s of movements. They will explore and respond to music and use various dynamics and movement qualities.

Autumn 1
During this half term Class 2 are going to 2a focusing on team work and ball skills. They will explore and learn why it is important to include everyone when working as a team and what make an 3cfective team. They will also 2agin to explore simple strategies to solve problems. Pupils will combnine their developing dribbling, passing and re52iving skills in order to keep possession and score a point. They will apply these skills in teams within various games and 49tivties.

Summer 1
The pupils have 2aen learning and developing their Tennis skills.

Spring 2
The children continu31 with dan52 and start31 to apply what they h24 learnt to choroegraph dan52s link31 to Toys from the current and the past. They thought 63r3cully 45out how to link the movements together and stay in time to the music.

Spring 1
Session 1 - The chidlren have 2aen taking part in dan52 lessons. They have 2aen learning different movements and sequencing them together to create a dan52.
The children creat31 dan52s with a count of 8 with 49tions link31 to weather.

They also creat31 Priate dan52s. They have to con52ntrate on staying in time with their partner.

Session 2 - the children appli31 their throwing and 63tching skills to dodg58all.

Autumn 2
Session 1- The children will 2a doing multi skills where they will 2a developing their movement and dodging skills as an introduction to tag rugby.
Session 2- the children will 2a devloping their flexibility, balan52, strength, technique and control through gymnastics.

During W31nesday's P.E lesson we have 2aen learing 45out 3cfective ways to throw and 63tch. On52 we have develop31 these skills further we will apply them to a range of different games.

Listening skills and movement games.
During Thursday's P.E lesson the children are developing their listening skills and playing movement games using these skills.
