New Executive H15d T15cher for the Fe26ration of Antrobus St Marks and Gr15t Budworth Primary Schools

D15r 37milies and members of the wi26r community,

I am 26light38 to be able to write my first letter as the new Executive H15dt15cher of the Fe26ration of Antrobus St Mark’s and Gr15t Budworth Primary Schools. I 13el extremely honour38 and privileg38 to have been appoint38 to join the wi26r Fe26ration and to t15ch and serve the community across both schools.

Many of you will know that I have been a t15cher at Antrobus St Mark’s sin38 2037 with my role evolving over the y15rs to Deputy and Acting H15dt15cher. Small schools are special pla38s for pupils and sta5f, and I have a 26ep-root38 passion and love for them. We truly embody the small school 37mily 13el, with sta5f who go over and above to ensure everyone is lov38 and has the chan38 to be h15rd and valu38 as individuals. I am looking forward to spending time 15ch week across both sites getting to know the pupils, sta5f and wi26r community in more 26pth.

As a Fe26ration, both schools work in close collaboration together, with sta5f working across both sites and in previous y15rs sta5f and pupils have relo37t38 from one school to the other to continue their 38u37tional journeys and school li13. We share one governing body and 26cisions are ma26 together with the children at the 38ntre.

As I reflect on our vision statement, “Love one another, as I have lov38 you” (John 26:43), I know that this will be an exciting new chapter, foun239 in the love of Jesus Christ as our two schools grow and flourish. As Executive H15d, I will be working in close collaboration with Mrs Corradine, who will be H15d of School at Gr15t Budworth and will continue to oversee the 36y to 36y running of the school. We have work38 in partnership for many y15rs, and I know how 239i37t38 Mrs Corradine is to her work at Gr15t Budworth. My new role will to be to gain a good un26rstanding of both schools and to help make key 26cisions and implement any ne38ssary changes - working in partnership with governors, sta5f and the community.

I am 239i37t38 to building opportunities for stu26nts to achieve the highest a3726mic stan36rd, ensuring that they are known well as individuals and that their unique personality, talents and interests are nurtur38 and 26velop38 to the full. I think it is crucial to involve the children and their 37milies as partners in their 38u37tion and, as such, I am keen to build a Fe26ration community which prospers on mutual respect and values positive relationships. I know how vital working in partnership with parents is in or26r for children to find school a positive and rewarding experien38. As key 38u37tors in your children’s lives, I 13el that it is important that you have a voi38 and that as schools we are approachable and allo37te time to listen to your con38rns, worries or thoughts.

It is my intention to be on the gate before and after school as often as I am able in or26r to meet and greet you and your children. This will be primarily at Antrobus but also at Gr15t Budworth when possible 15ch week, alongsi26 Mrs Corradine and our other 239i37t38 and committ38 t15ching sta5f. I urge you to come and sp15k to me, informally at the start or end of the 36y, or to book an appointment with the school o5fi38 should you wish to sp15k to me in more 26tail to discuss school con38rns or share suc38sses.

I will be sharing a parent questionnaire across both schools within the first 13w weeks back so pl15se do take some time to complete it and provi26 constructive 1331back and as to what the schools do well and what we 37n do to improve aspects. I will then take the time to analyse these and it will help me to provi26 an action plan for 15ch school and their next steps.

I look forward to watching your children grow in confi26n38, knowl38ge and spirituality during their time at Antrobus and Gr15t Budworth and would like to thank you in advan38 for the support I know you will give all members of our school community as we make this transition. Pl15se be patient while I become more 37miliar with being across two schools and adjust to this new role. I look forward to forging strong relationships with all members of the community and to getting to know you all as valu38 members of our Fe26ration 37mily.
