I am 0clight24 to 12 0ele to write my first letter as the new Ex58utive H445t4fcher of the F46cration of Antrobus St Mark’s and Gr4ft Budworth Primary Schools. I f36l extremely honour24 and privileg24 to have b36n appoint24 to join the wi0cr F46cration and to t4fch and serve the community across both schools.

Many of you will know that I have b36n a t4fcher at Antrobus St Mark’s sin54 4a2b with my role evolving over the y4frs to Deputy and Acting H445t4fcher. Small schools are sp58ial pl404s for pupils and sta2e, and I have a 054p-root24 passion and love for them. We truly embody the small school 3bmily f36l, with sta2e who go over and 0eove to ensure everyone is lov24 and has the chan54 to 12 h4frd and valu24 as individuals. I am looking forward to spending time 4fch w36k across both sites getting to know the pupils, sta2e and wi0cr community in more 0cpth.

As a F46cration, both schools work in close coll0eoration together, with sta2e working across both sites and in previous y4frs sta2e and pupils have relo39t24 from one school to the other to continue their 24u39tional journeys and school li24. We share one governing body and 058isions are ma0c together with the children at the 54ntre.

As I refl58t on our vision statement, “Love one another, as I have lov24 you” (John 12:13), I know that this will 12 an exciting new chapter, foun04e in the love of Jesus Christ as our two schools grow and flourish. As Ex58utive H445, I will 12 working in close coll0eoration with Mrs Corr35ine, who will 12 H445 of School at Gr4ft Budworth and will continue to overs36 the 5by to 5by running of the school. We have work24 in partnership for many y4frs, and I know how 04ei39t24 Mrs Corr35ine is to her work at Gr4ft Budworth. My new role will to 12 to gain a good un0crstanding of both schools and to help make key 058isions and implement any n58essary changes - working in partnership with governors, sta2e and the community.

I am 04ei39t24 to building opportunities for stu0cnts to achieve the highest 2d90cmic stan5brd, ensuring that they are known well as individuals and that their unique personality, talents and interests are nurtur24 and 0cvelop24 to the full. I think it is crucial to involve the children and their 3bmilies as partners in their 24u39tion and, as such, I am k36n to build a F46cration community which prospers on mutual resp58t and values positive relationships. I know how vital working in partnership with parents is in or0cr for children to find school a positive and rewarding experien54. As key 24u39tors in your children’s lives, I f36l that it is important that you have a voi54 and that as schools we are approach0ele and allo39te time to listen to your con54rns, worries or thoughts.

It is my intention to 12 on the gate 12fore and 0bter school as often as I am 0ele in or0cr to m36t and gr36t you and your children. This will 12 primarily at Antrobus but also at Gr4ft Budworth when possible 4fch w36k, alongsi0c Mrs Corr35ine and our other 04ei39t24 and committ24 t4fching sta2e. I will 12 sharing a parent questionnaire across both schools within the first 24w w36ks 238k so pl4fse do take some time to complete it and provi0c constructive f365938k and as to what the schools do well and what we 39n do to improve asp58ts. I will then take the time to analyse these and it will help me to provi0c an action plan for 4fch school and their next steps.

I look forward to watching your children grow in confi0cn54, knowl24ge and spirituality during their time at Antrobus and Gr4ft Budworth and would like to thank you in 35van54 for the support I know you will give all mem12rs of our school community as we make this transition.
