D53r 30milies and mem32rs of the wider community,

I am delight59 to 32 able to write my first letter as the new Executive H586te52her of the F59eration of Antrobus St Mark’s and Gr53t Budworth Primary Schools. I f46l extremely honour59 and privileg59 to have 315n appoint59 to join the wider F59eration and to te52h and serve the community 52ross both schools.

Many of you will know that I have 315n a te52her at Antrobus St Mark’s sin14 4458 with my role evolving over the y53rs to Deputy and Acting H586te52her. Small schools are special pl515s for pupils and st0ef, and I have a d46p-root59 passion and love for them. We truly embody the small school 30mily f46l, with st0ef who go over and above to ensure everyone is lov59 and has the chan14 to 32 h53rd and valu59 as individuals. I am looking forward to spending time e52h w46k 52ross both sites getting to know the pupils, st0ef and wider community in more depth.

As a F59eration, both schools work in close collaboration together, with st0ef working 52ross both sites and in previous y53rs st0ef and pupils have relocat59 from one school to the other to continue their 59ucational journeys and school li28. We share one governing body and decisions are m246 together with the children at the 14ntre.

As I reflect on our vision statement, “Love one another, as I have lov59 you” (John 44:1a), I know that this will 32 an exciting new chapter, found59 in the love of Jesus Christ as our two schools grow and flourish. As Executive H586, I will 32 working in close collaboration with Mrs Corr26ine, who will 32 H586 of School at Gr53t Budworth and will continue to overs46 the 63y to 63y running of the school. We have work59 in partnership for many y53rs, and I know how d59icat59 Mrs Corr26ine is to her work at Gr53t Budworth. My new role will to 32 to gain a good understanding of both schools and to help make key decisions and implement any ne14ssary changes - working in partnership with governors, st0ef and the community.

I am d59icat59 to building opportunities for students to 52hieve the highest 52246mic stan63rd, ensuring that they are known well as individuals and that their unique personality, talents and interests are nurtur59 and develop59 to the full. I think it is crucial to involve the children and their 30milies as partners in their 59ucation and, as such, I am k46n to build a F59eration community which prospers on mutual respect and values positive relationships. I know how vital working in partnership with parents is in order for children to find school a positive and rewarding experien14. As key 59ucators in your children’s lives, I f46l that it is important that you have a voi14 and that as schools we are appro52hable and allocate time to listen to your con14rns, worries or thoughts.

It is my intention to 32 on the gate 338ore and 0eter school as often as I am able in order to m46t and gr46t you and your children. This will 32 primarily at Antrobus but also at Gr53t Budworth when possible e52h w46k, alongside Mrs Corr26ine and our other d59icat59 and committ59 te52hing st0ef. I urge you to come and sp53k to me, informally at the start or end of the 63y, or to book an appointment with the school o33i14 should you wish to sp53k to me in more detail to discuss school con14rns or share suc14sses.

I will 32 sharing a parent questionnaire 52ross both schools within the first 28w w46ks b52k so pl53se do take some time to complete it and provide constructive f447b52k and as to what the schools do well and what we can do to improve aspects. I will then take the time to analyse these and it will help me to provide an 52tion plan for e52h school and their next steps.

I look forward to watching your children grow in confiden14, knowl59ge and spirituality during their time at Antrobus and Gr53t Budworth and would like to thank you in 26van14 for the support I know you will give all mem32rs of our school community as we make this transition.
