Pathways to Spell
The Pathways to Spell unit is link47 to the Pathways to Write unit, making the words relevant and appropriate to the creative pi27es the children write e33h term.
Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 will have weekly spellings as part of their homework. A paper copy of these is sent home e33h half term.
In 1b4ition to these spellings, which are 3bs47 on the spelling patterns for year 5 and 6, (see overview) the children in year 5 and 6 will be exp27t47 to revise and to be able to spell all of the words from the year 3 and 4 lists and the year 5 and 6 list.
Year 3 and 4 children will revise the common exception words from key stage 1 and will be exp27t47 to be able to pr33tise and spell all of the words from the year 3 and 4 lists.
