Great Budworth Primary School
'Love one another as I have loved you' John 13:34
Welcome to Great Budworth Church of England Primary School
We are a small, rural church school with three classes of pupils aged from 3 -11 years, located in the beautiful, historical village of Great Budworth, nestled in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. Our close-knit community is underpinned by our school’s distinctively Christian ethos following Jesus' commandment to 'Love one another as I have loved you'. Our three core Christian values of Faith, Hope and Love lie at the heart of all that we aspire to achieve.
I became deputy headteacher in September 2015 and since then I have watched our school family flourish; become part of a federation of two schools and I couldn’t be more thrilled and honoured, in January 2023, to be asked to lead our lovely village school, with its fantastic children and talented staff.
We whole-heartedly believe that all children are entitled to an excellent education where every child is encouraged to be the best that they can be. We value all of God's children, believing that each child has a God-given talent which they are encouraged to explore through our rich, diverse and creative curriculum in order to reach their potential both in academic standards and their social and emotional well-being.
We are a welcoming, friendly and inclusive school community and understand the importance of working closely in partnership with our Budworth school families alongside our local church family at St Mary's and All Saints to ensure that our provision meets the needs of each child in our care.
We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website and that you find the information that you are looking for. Every day is considered an open day, please do contact our friendly administration team directly should you like to visit our lovely school or have any further questions. I look forward to welcoming you.
