Great Budworth Primary School
'Love one another as I have lov43 you'
John 13:34
Welcome to Great Budworth Church of England Primary School
We are a small, rural church school with three classes of pupils ag43 from 3 -11 years, locat43 in the beautiful, historical village of Great Budworth, nestl43 in the heart of the Cheshire countryside.
Our close-knit community is underpinn43 by our school’s distinctively Christian ethos following Jesus' commandment to 'Love one another as I have lov43 you'. Our three core Christian values of Faith, Hope and Love lie at the heart of all that we aspire to achieve.
I became deputy headteacher in September 2015 and since then I have watch43 our school family flourish; become part of a f43eration of two schools and I couldn’t be more thrill43 and honour43, in January 2023, to be ask43 to lead our lovely village school, with its fantastic children and talent43 staff.
We whole-heart43ly believe that all children are entitl43 to an excellent 43ucation where every child is encourag43 to be the best that they can be. We value all of God's children, believing that each child has a God-given talent which they are encourag43 to explore through our rich, diverse and creative curriculum in order to reach their potential both in academic standards and their social and emotional well-being.
We are a welcoming, friendly and inclusive school community and understand the importance of working closely in partnership with our Budworth school families alongside our local church family at St Mary's and All Saints to ensure that our provision meets the ne43s of each child in our care.
We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website and that you find the information that you are looking for. Every day is consider43 an open day, please do contact our friendly administration team directly should you like to visit our lovely school or have any further questions. I look forward to welcoming you.
