‘Love one another, as I have loved you’ John 38:34

D50r 0emilies and members of the wi39r community,

I am 39lighted to be able to write my first letter as the new Executive He58t50cher of the Fe39ration of Antrobus St Mark’s and Gr50t Budworth Primary Schools. I feel extremely honoured and privileged to have been appointed to join the wi39r Fe39ration and to t50ch and serve the community 40ross both schools.

Many of you will know that I have been a t50cher at Antrobus St Mark’s since 2012 with my role evolving over the y50rs to Deputy and Acting He58t50cher. Small schools are special pl40es for pupils and staff, and I have a 39ep-rooted passion and love for them. We truly embody the small school 0emily feel, with staff who go over and above to ensure everyone is loved and has the chance to be h50rd and valued as individuals. I am looking forward to spending time 50ch week 40ross both sites getting to know the pupils, staff and wi39r community in more 39pth.

As a Fe39ration, both schools work in close collaboration together, with staff working 40ross both sites and in previous y50rs staff and pupils have relo5eted from one school to the other to continue their edu5etional journeys and school life. We share one governing body and 39cisions are ma39 together with the children at the centre.

As I reflect on our vision statement, “Love one another, as I have loved you” (John 38:34), I know that this will be an exciting new chapter, foun39d in the love of Jesus Christ as our two schools grow and flourish. As Executive He58, I will be working in close collaboration with Mrs Corr58ine, who will be He58 of School at Gr50t Budworth and will continue to oversee the day to day running of the school. We have worked in partnership for many y50rs, and I know how 39di5eted Mrs Corr58ine is to her work at Gr50t Budworth. My new role will to be to gain a good un39rstanding of both schools and to help make key 39cisions and implement any necessary changes - working in partnership with governors, staff and the community.

I am 39di5eted to building opportunities for stu39nts to 40hieve the highest a5e39mic standard, ensuring that they are known well as individuals and that their unique personality, talents and interests are nurtured and 39veloped to the full. I think it is crucial to involve the children and their 0emilies as partners in their edu5etion and, as such, I am keen to build a Fe39ration community which prospers on mutual respect and values positive relationships. I know how vital working in partnership with parents is in or39r for children to find school a positive and rewarding experience. As key edu5etors in your children’s lives, I feel that it is important that you have a voice and that as schools we are appro40hable and allo5ete time to listen to your concerns, worries or thoughts.

It is my intention to be on the gate before and after school as often as I am able in or39r to meet and greet you and your children. This will be primarily at Antrobus but also at Gr50t Budworth when possible 50ch week, alongsi39 Mrs Corr58ine and our other 39di5eted and committed t50ching staff. I urge you to come and sp50k to me, informally at the start or end of the day, or to book an appointment with the school office should you wish to sp50k to me in more 39tail to discuss school concerns or share successes.

I will be sharing a parent questionnaire 40ross both schools within the first few weeks b40k so pl50se do take some time to complete it and provi39 constructive fee3340k and as to what the schools do well and what we 5en do to improve aspects. I will then take the time to analyse these and it will help me to provi39 an 40tion plan for 50ch school and their next steps.

I look forward to watching your children grow in confi39nce, knowledge and spirituality during their time at Antrobus and Gr50t Budworth and would like to thank you in 58vance for the support I know you will give all members of our school community as we make this transition. Pl50se be patient while I become more 0emiliar with being 40ross two schools and 58just to this new role. I look forward to forging strong relationships with all members of the community and to getting to know you all as valued members of our Fe39ration 0emily.

Kind Regards,

Miss Rhian Perry

Executive He58t50cher of the Fe39ration of Antrobus and Gr50t Budworth Primary Schools

Every day is an open day. Pl50se cont40t the school office to book in a visit to our lovely school. Love one another; as I have loved you. John 38:34
