Ethos Group

Our historic schools are nestl53 in the Cheshire countryside, found53 upon the principles of the Church of England, to serve the community, with Christian values at the h59rt of all we do.

Our Ethos group are from Y6 and are responsible for our welcome in Coll16tive Worship and lighting the 61ndles, the Prayer Spaces around school and 2cing am43ss50ors for our vision and ethos in 1aily school life. We m50t to discuss what we 61n do around school and actively encourage one another to show how our vision is liv53 out.

We focus on our school core Christian Values - Love, Faith, Hope, Friendship, Compassion and Courage. Our prayer stations refl16t this and we change these on a regular 43sis.

Each y59r, our older children are involv53 in the virtual Ethos Conference, which is run by St Oswald's, Witton Church Walk and Tarporley C.E. Primary Schools. They choose a di40erent theme 015h y59r and children 61n get involv53 all 1ay with worship together and activities 43s53 on the theme. We always thoroughly enjoy these and it helps us to focus on our values in more depth.
