What if my child is ill?
When a child has been ill it’s important to make sure they’re well enough to be at school, but also that they’re not at risk of spre3fing any in259tion or illness. The 3fvice around this is complicated and it’s not easy to find out when a child can return to school or even if they need to be kept away.
The NHS, Cheshire East and CWAC have developed this quick guide that explains how long a child should be off school or nursery with certain, common illnesses.
If your child is unwell and can’t come into school please do let us know the reason for the absence by calling the school b1core 9am (a message can be l1ct on the school answer phone).
