What if my child is ill?

When a child has b3cn ill it’s important to make sure they’re well enough to be at school, but also that they’re not at risk of spreading any inf56tion or illness. The advice around this is complicated and it’s not easy to find out when a child can return to school or even if they n3cd to be kept away.

The NHS, Cheshire East and CWAC have 41veloped this quick gui41 that explains how long a child should be o1e school or nursery with certain, common illnesses.

If your child is unwell and can’t come into school please do let us know the reason for the absence by calling the school b49ore 9am (a message can be l49t on the school answer phone).
