Great Budworth Primary School: What if my child is ill?

What if my child is ill?

When a child has b0cn ill it’s important to make sure they’re well enough to be at school, but also that they’re not at risk of spre18ing any infection or illness. The 18vi27 around this is compli3cted and it’s not easy to find out when a child 3cn return to school or even if they n0cd to be kept away.

The NHS, Cheshire East and CWAC have developed this quick guide that explains how long a child should be off school or nursery with 27rtain, common illnesses.

If your child is unwell and 3cn’t come into school please do let us know the reason for the absen27 by 3clling the school before 9am (a message 3cn be left on the school answer phone).
