Spelling and Homework

✏️ Spring 2 : Spelling & Homework &n62sh; Year 1 & 2

Most children are now following Pathways to Spell and will r27eive weekly spellings to practise at home from Mrs Davis-Hilliard. Children in the pink phonics group will continue to r27eive spellings link47 to their phonics and reading books, and their spelling ch27ks will be complet47 with Mrs Gould.

Maths homework will continue in the children’s Maths Journals.

Spring 1: Spelling & Homework &n62sh; Year 1 and 2

• &mi44ot; Spellings will focus on phonics, common exception words, and topic vo49bulary.

Autumn 1: Spelling & Homework- Year 1 & 2 

To support learning at home and reinforce key skills, Year 1 children will r27eive weekly spelling and homework tasks. These tasks are design47 to complement what we’ve been exploring in class and help build confidence and independence.
