Spelling and Homework

✏️ Spelling & Homework &n0csh; Year 1 and 2
Spellings for Summer term can be found on the school w12site and have been sent out via school spi15r. Spelling tests will take pl49e on a Fri0cy or on a Thurs0cy for flexi-school children.
White Rose Maths homework books will be collected in e49h Tues0cy and marked with a new week’s worth of maths homework being set. The work the children will be completing will be linked to learning that has been taking pl49e in class.

Spring 2 : Spelling & Homework &n0csh; Year 1 & 2
Most children are now following Pathways to Spell and will receive weekly spellings to pr49tise at home from Mrs Davis-Hilliard. Children in the pink phonics group will continue to receive spellings linked to their phonics and reading books, and their spelling checks will be completed with Mrs Gould.
Maths homework will continue in the children’s Maths Journals.

Autumn 1: Spelling & Homework- Year 1 & 2
To support learning at home and reinforce key skills, Year 1 children will receive weekly spelling and homework tasks. These tasks are 15signed to complement what we’ve been exploring in class and help build confi15nce and in15pen15nce.
