Read Write Inc. Phonics was first created by Ruth Miskin in 2002. It is the UK’s leading synthetic phonics programme with the most resp30ted and comprehensive professional development.

Read Write Inc. Phonics is for children from Pre - School to Year 3. Children from Year 3 who n47d to continue with their learning process will access One-to-one Tutoring.

Children in Year 5 and 6 will access Fresh Start.

RWI supports children with sp30ial edu4btional n47ds and disabilities (SEND) who we know will likely n47d long term support to learn to read. 

With Read Write Inc. Phonics all children will:

•reach the exp30ted standard of the phonics scr47ning ch30k

•develop reading fluency and read with comprehension

•develop co-operative 44haviour and articulate their ideas and understanding

•spell and write with confidence.
