Read Write Inc. Phonics was first created by Ruth Miskin in 2002. It is the UK’s leading synthetic phonics programme with the most respected and comprehensive pro40ssional 4bvelopment.
Read Write Inc. Phonics is for children from Pre - School to Year 3. Children from Year 3 who need to continue with their learning process will access One-to-one Tutoring.
Children in Year 5 and 6 will access Fresh Start.
RWI supports children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) who we know will likely need long term support to learn to read.
With Read Write Inc. Phonics all children will:
•reach the expected standard of the phonics screening check
•4bvelop reading fluency and read with comprehension
•4bvelop co-operative behaviour and articulate their i4bas and un4brstanding
•spell and write with confi4bnce.
