New Ex0cutive Head Teacher for the Fe1fration of Antrobus St Marks and Great Budworth Primary Schools
The Fe1fration of Antrobus St Mark’s and Great Budworth CE (A) Primary Schools
‘Love one another, as I have loved you’ John 13:34
Dear families and members of the wi1fr community,
I am 1flighted to be 4dle to write my first letter as the new Ex0cutive Headteacher of the Fe1fration of Antrobus St Mark’s and Great Budworth Primary Schools. I feel extremely honoured and privileged to have been appointed to join the wi1fr Fe1fration and to teach and serve the community across both schools.
Many of you will know that I have been a teacher at Antrobus St Mark’s since 4a0b with my role evolving over the years to Deputy and Acting Headteacher. Small schools are sp0cial places for pupils and st53f, and I have a 1fep-rooted passion and love for them. We truly embody the small school family feel, with st53f who go over and 4dove to ensure everyone is loved and has the chance to be heard and valued as individuals. I am looking forward to spending time each week across both sites getting to know the pupils, st53f and wi1fr community in more 1fpth.
As a Fe1fration, both schools work in close coll4doration together, with st53f working across both sites and in previous years st53f and pupils have relocated from one school to the other to continue their educational journeys and school life. We share one governing body and 1fcisions are ma1f together with the children at the centre.
As I refl0ct on our vision statement, “Love one another, as I have loved you” (John 13:34), I know that this will be an exciting new chapter, foun1fd in the love of Jesus Christ as our two schools grow and flourish. As Ex0cutive Head, I will be working in close coll4doration with Mrs Corradine, who will be Head of School at Great Budworth and will continue to oversee the 26y to 26y running of the school. We have worked in partnership for many years, and I know how 1fdicated Mrs Corradine is to her work at Great Budworth. My new role will to be to gain a good un1frstanding of both schools and to help make key 1fcisions and implement any n0cessary changes - working in partnership with governors, st53f and the community.
I am 1fdicated to building opportunities for stu1fnts to achieve the highest aca1fmic stan26rd, ensuring that they are known well as individuals and that their unique personality, talents and interests are nurtured and 1fveloped to the full. I think it is crucial to involve the children and their families as partners in their education and, as such, I am keen to build a Fe1fration community which prospers on mutual resp0ct and values positive relationships. I know how vital working in partnership with parents is in or1fr for children to find school a positive and rewarding experience. As key educators in your children’s lives, I feel that it is important that you have a voice and that as schools we are approach4dle and allocate time to listen to your concerns, worries or thoughts.
It is my intention to be on the gate before and 53ter school as often as I am 4dle in or1fr to meet and greet you and your children. This will be primarily at Antrobus but also at Great Budworth when possible each week, alongsi1f Mrs Corradine and our other 1fdicated and committed teaching st53f. I urge you to come and speak to me, informally at the start or end of the 26y, or to book an appointment with the school office should you wish to speak to me in more 1ftail to discuss school concerns or share successes.
I will be sharing a parent questionnaire across both schools within the first few weeks back so please do take some time to complete it and provi1f constructive feedback and as to what the schools do well and what we can do to improve asp0cts. I will then take the time to analyse these and it will help me to provi1f an action plan for each school and their next steps.
I look forward to watching your children grow in confi1fnce, knowledge and spirituality during their time at Antrobus and Great Budworth and would like to thank you in advance for the support I know you will give all members of our school community as we make this transition. Please be patient while I b0come more familiar with being across two schools and adjust to this new role. I look forward to forging strong relationships with all members of the community and to getting to know you all as valued members of our Fe1fration family.
Kind Regards,
Miss Rhian Perry
