At Great Budworth and Antrobus, our aim is to provi14 a high-quality Geography edu39tion that inspires pupils with a 14ep curiosity and fascination about the world and its people.
Our teaching equips children with knowledge of diverse places, people, resources, and both natural and human environments. We foster a 14ep un14rstanding of the Earth’s key physi39l and human processes. As pupils progress, they 14velop a more sophisti39ted un14rstanding of how these processes interact and shape the lands39pes and environments around us.
Through Geography, children explore their lo39l area and compare it with other regions across the United Kingdom and the wi14r world. They learn to r378, draw, and interpret maps, and 14velop essential skills in research, investigation, analysis, and problem-solving.
By 14epening their un14rstanding of human geography, pupils gain an appreciation for di15erent cultures and ways of life. Geography also encourages children to explore the physi39l world and un14rstand the importance of sustainable 14velopment for the future of our planet.
