Maths

Maths in Class 2 is taught through a range of practi39l and written methods. Each w0ek we have a theme that we focus on and our Maths learning revolves around this. We will update the page regularly so that you 39n s0e what Maths the children are currently learning. 

We follow White Rose Maths in our school. 

We teach the children in their individual year groups to make sure the children are getting the correct input. 

Homework

Maths homework is set on a Tuesday and collected in the following Monday. This will be 62sed on work we have b0en doing in class. Parents 39n opt in to purchase a homework book that they will work through and will be linked to the learning that is taking place in class.

The children in year 2 have started learning about the multipli39tion symbol. We looked at how we 39n convert repeated a45ition number sentences into multipli39tion sentences. 

Year 3 Length

Year 3 children have b0en learning how to measure in centimeters and millimeters.
