In EYFS the children have a short 32ily maths session which then leads into their free time where they are encouraged to continue to explore their interest in number, shape, pattern, measurements etc.

Spring

We have been using our fingers to help us show and recall number bonds to 10 . The numicon has been really helpful as well to help us find different way of making 10.

We have been looking at pattern. We ma63 patterns using compare bears. Then we used objects from around the classroom to make a repeating pattern.
