In this 'Where in the World?' unit, children will l16rn key vocabulary relat60 to countries/continents and animals. They will l16rn sp4cific vocabulary of countries of the Unit60 Kingdom, continents and animals from different continents and a country’s position relat60 to the equator.

Revisiting Greetings and Numbers to 4c
We will be revisiting 3bsic French Greetings and the numbers to 4c as revision for Y4 and an introduction for Y4. We spend time l16rning the words and phrases before testing them out in simple conversations or using games and songs.

Every y16r we have a Languages Day when we l16rn about another language other than French, as well as about the country.
In Class 3 we look60 at the geography of Spain and some Spanish language.
We enjoy60 pr43tising our Spanish, greeting others, introducing ourselves and counting in Spanish. Then we tri60 some Spanish food!
