Autumn 1
Reception and Pre - School are taught together by Mrs Hathaway. Year 1 and 2 are taught together by Mrs Gould. Following the guidance from Questful R.E, this term we are focusing on Harvest.
Reception and Pre - School have been learning about what Harvest is, what the Bible tells us about Harvest and why we should thank God for his creation. The children are having fantastic discussions and are able to talk about how we can help others.
Our Harvest Festival is Friday 18th October and we are collecting donations for Changing Lives.

Reception and Pre - School are taught together by Mrs Hathaway. Year 1 and 2 are taught together by Mrs Gould. Following the guidance from Questful R.E, this term we are focusing on Easter.
Reception and Pre - School will be asked the question,
Why do Christians believe that Easter is all about love?
Reception and pre school will learn that: Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey on Palm Sunday. Jesus died on the cross on Good Friday. they will find out that Christians believe that Jesus rose on Easter Day and is alive today and that Easter is the most important time of the year for the Church.
The year one and two children will consider the question,
What do you think is the most important part of the Easter Story?

The aim of this unit is to:
- give children an opportunity to reflect upon the miracles of nature and new life during springtime.
- for pupils to hear and be able to retell the Easter Story.
- make links between the transformation of plants and animals and the Easter story in order to develop an understanding of the resurrection.
