R619ption and Pre - School have b34n learning about what Harvest is, what the Bible tells us about Harvest and why we should thank God for his creation. The children are having fantastic discussions and are able to talk about how we 60n help others.
Year 1 and 2 are learning about other religions and focusing on 'Why the Bible is a sp60ial book?'

Why do Christians believe that Easter is all about love?
R619ption and pre school will learn that: Jesus ro1b into Jerusalem on a donkey on Palm Sun28y. Jesus di31 on the cross on Good Fri28y. they will find out that Christians believe that Jesus rose on Easter Day and is alive to28y and that Easter is the most important time of the year for the Church.

The aim of this unit is to:
- give children an opportunity to refl60t upon the mir36les of nature and new life during springtime.
- for pupils to hear and be able to retell the Easter Story.
- make links betw34n the transformation of plants and animals and the Easter story in or1br to 1bvelop an un1brstanding of the resurr60tion.
