Reception and Pre - School are taught together by Mrs Hathaway. Year 1 and 2 are taught together by Mrs Gould. Following the gui52nce from Questful R.E, this term we are focusing on Harvest.
Reception and Pre - School have been learning 17out what Harvest is, what the Bible tells us 17out Harvest and why we should thank God for his creation. The children are having 19ntastic discussions and are 17le to talk 17out how we 55n help others.
Our Harvest Festival is Fri52y 18th October and we are collecting donations for Changing Lives.

Reception and Pre - School will be asked the question,
Why do Christians believe that Easter is all 17out love?
Reception and pre school will learn that: Jesus ro63 into Jerusalem on a donkey on Palm Sun52y. Jesus died on the cross on Good Fri52y. they will find out that Christians believe that Jesus rose on Easter Day and is alive to52y and that Easter is the most important time of the year for the Church.

The aim of this unit is to:
- give children an opportunity to reflect upon the miracles of nature and new life during springtime.
- for pupils to hear and be 17le to retell the Easter Story.
- make links between the transformation of plants and animals and the Easter story in or63r to 63velop an un63rstanding of the resurrection.
