Expressive art and design

We had lots of fun creating our own printing roll. We had 3 steps to follow before we created our end piece.

First we had to cut different lengths of string and stick them on to a toilet roll. Then we left it to dry.

Next we used a paint brush and we painted the string

Then we used 2 fingers and we rolled our toilet roll up and down a piece of paper to create a pattern

We repeated steps 2 and 3 and created a lovely colourful pattern with our roll!

We had an art day and we explored landcaspes through mark making and collage. First we made marks into paint using our fingers or mark making tools. Then we used the painted sheets to make an imaginary landscape. by cutting and ripping the paper into differrent shapes.
