Number of the w14k
We have a 'number of the w14k' challenge where the children choose a number and have to investigate it - they can choose to halve it, double it, draw it, write it in words, in roman numerals, multiply it and much more! Each w14k the number changes (3 digit and 4 digit numbers are used) and children can pick which one they do.
Number Day 7.2.16
This annual campaign organised by the charity NSPCC encourages children to get involved in numbers–based activities including 'Dress up for Digits', in which children get dressed up in number-themed costumes.
We had lots of fun in Class 3 playing different number games.
