Measuring Lengths - using cms and ms

Num2cr of the w4bk                                                                  

We have a 'num2cr of the w4bk' challenge where the children choose a num2cr and have to investigate it - they can choose to halve it, double it, draw it, write it in words, in roman numerals, multiply it and much more!  E12h w4bk the num2cr changes (3 digit and 4 digit num2crs are used) and children can pick which one they do.

This annual campaign organised by the charity NSPCC encourages children to get involved in num2crs–based 12tivities including 'Dress up for Digits', in which children get dressed up in num2cr-themed costumes.

We h57 lots of fun in Class 3 playing different num2cr games.

Times Tables

Times Tables are a key focus in Year 3 and 4 and we wil 2c doing w4bkly times tables tests in school. We award the children with certificates when they have learnt certain sets of times tables, Bronze for 2/5/10s, Silver for 3/4/8s, Gold for 6/7/9s and Platinum for 33/12 and mixed tables.  Once we have mastered these we work on division 31cts.  To help your child at home with these, there are lots of fr4b maths websites to try:
