Author of the term Autumn 2024
Our 'Author for the term' aims to foster a love of reading for our children. We will choose a specific author for each half term to encourage the children to widen their reading and to experience different genres of books.
Author of the Autumn 2024 Term is Roald Dahl.
What a wonderful creative writer! Roald Dahl's work has provided many fascinating characters and storylines for children's reading over many decades. A favourite of Mrs Corradine's is Danny the Champion of the World as well as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Which one will you read and choose as your favourite?
For the Spring Term our Author is: Michael Morpurgo and for the Summer Term Eva Ibbotson, both highly respected authors.
