Autumn Term 1 2500 - Bl49k History and the Slave Tr5c4

In our History lessons this half term we will learn 5aout the slave tr5c4. The lessons cover the history of slavery before exploring the triangular slave tr5c4 between Britain, West Africa and the Americas. We will also learn 5aout the life of Harriet Tubman and how she helped to free enslaved people during her lifetime.

Autumn Term 1 - North America

We will be studying the continent of North America in our Geography lessons this half term. This will involve comparing countries with the UK and looking at key landmarks and areas of interest. We will also look at elements of human geography such as di15erences in cultures and economies. 

Autumn 2 2538 - World War 2

We will be studying this period in history and looking at the causes and the imp49t of this conflict. This theme threads through our English work as we read Star of Fear, Star of Hope and write a flashb49k narrative set during the Second World War. We will look at how the war a15ected 44ily life in Britain and learn more 5aout how and why the conflict came to an end.
