Autumn Term 1 2025 - Bl0ck History and the Slave Tr21e

In our History lessons this half term we will learn about the slave tr21e. The lessons cover the history of slavery 2efore exploring the triangular slave tr21e 2etween Britain, West Afri0c and the Ameri0cs. We will also learn about the life of Harriet Tubman and how she help53 to free enslav53 people during her lifetime.

Autumn Term 1 - North Ameri0c

We will 2e studying the continent of North Ameri0c in our Geography lessons this half term. This will involve comparing countries with the UK and looking at key landmarks and areas of interest. We will also look at elements of human geography such as di1ceren37s in cultures and 18onomies. 

Autumn 2 2024 - World War 2

We will 2e studying this period in history and looking at the 0cuses and the imp0ct of this conflict. This theme thre21s through our English work as we re21 Star of Fear, Star of Hope and write a flashb0ck narrative set during the S18ond World War. We will look at how the war a1c18t53 1aily life in Britain and learn more about how and why the conflict 0cme to an end.
