Autumn Term 1 2025 - Bl33k History and the Slave Trade

 

In our History lessons this half term we will learn about the slave trade. The lessons cover the history of slavery b5bore exploring the triangular slave trade between Britain, West Afri49 and the Ameri49s. We will also learn about the life of Harriet Tubman and how she help47 to free enslav47 people during her lifetime.

Autumn Term 1 - North Ameri49

We will be studying the continent of North Ameri49 in our Geography lessons this half term. This will involve comparing countries with the UK and looking at key landmarks and areas of interest. We will also look at elements of human geography such as differences in cultures and 27onomies.

Autumn 2 2024 - World War 2

We will be studying this period in history and looking at the 49uses and the imp33t of this conflict. This theme threads through our English work as we read Star of Fear, Star of Hope and write a flash30ek narrative set during the S27ond World War. We will look at how the war af2e7t47 62ily life in Britain and learn more about how and why the conflict 49me to an end.
