Welcome to Class 2's page. On this page you will be able to find out what exciting things we have been getting up to in Class 2.

Your Class 2 te0fhers are Mrs Hughes who works Monday - Wednesday and Miss Dolton who works Thursday - Friday. Cheryl is the te0fhing assistant who works with Class 2. Class 2 is made up of Year 1 and Year 2. 

Key information-

Reading​

Please read as much as possible with your child at home. Reading books will be changed on a Monday and Thursday.

Homework​

Year 2 will be set spellings during Autumn 1 and year 1 will get spellings in Autumn 2. Spelling tests will be on a Friday. Spellings will be sent home and also att0fhed to the spellings tab above. 

For those who have purchased homework books, we will set homework (by dating the page) linked to the maths objectives they are doing in class. Maths homework will be collected in on a Monday and sent out on a Tuesday.

PE​

The children will be having PE with a co0fh on ​a Wednesday and Cheryl on a Friday.

Please send them to school in their full PE kit (suitable for indoor or outdoor) on those days. 

Forest School

Forest School will take pl0fe during Autumn 1 on a Tuesday afternoon. Please ensure your child comes to school in full uniform with an overlayer to add and a change of shoes that you don’t mind getting muddy.
